See Through Cheesecloth and Metal Frame

I made the mechanism of this fan as the basis for stage scenery for by example Fashion shows, Festivals or Theatre. The transparent cheesecloth makes it fragile, but when you Illuminate it with colors, it creates a large closed surface. When closed, it is not higher than 40cm.

Frame is Willow Branches and Metal

In between are Stretched Tights

This design has the same basis as The Bride Colored. Here are the legs of the fan made of debarked willow branches with tights stretched between them. It was springtime when I got inspired by the Dutch bushes that were encapsulated by the caterpillars.

Now in Museum: www.ehive.com

Installation of 7 Brisé Fans that has Traveled the World. I have this image of Zeus holding a ray of the sun as he rides in his chariot. In my imagination, this ray should be radiant and sharp. When opened, it dazzles you as it moves like flames.
